Throughout her career, Rebecca Alston has pursued an investigation of color and color relationships that has involved extra-visual realms as divers as the the psychological, the environmental, the architectural and the musical. The art series "Parative Ambiance" are a result of this investigation. The works consist of two- and three-dimensional forms in limited edition and unique prints which explore the perception of color and the relationship to sound.
